Every time I vacuum, I swear I'm going to write a review, but by the time I catch my breath, the moment has passed. Today's the day. I'll make it brief. We bought this after reading the high raves & ratings from Consumer Reports and users of the vacuum. Sure, after 3 years of infrequent vacuuming, it still sucks like a charm and hasn't broken. Good, good, good. Now, about that infrequent vacuuming. It's not that we don't need to vacuum more frequently, nor that we're slobs. It's that I dread vacuuming because it's like having a wrestling match with a Volkswagen Beetle. I even dread turning the thing on, because the only way to "press" the floor pedal is to get angry and stomp on it. By the time I'm done vacuuming, my arms feel like I just swung from here to Georgia on a jungle gym, and my back feels like a broken hinge. I hate this vacuum cleaner. But the good news is, after 30 minutes of cursing and wrenching every muscle and fiber in my body, the floors look great.
